Walking and Cycling

Thorpe Meadows is linked to both the city centre and Ferry Meadows Country Park by footpaths and cycle ways.

Thorpe Meadows is also a popular destination in its own right for walkers, joggers and cyclists due to the network of paths around the rowing lake and along the River Nene.

Sculpture

Much of the Peterborough Sculpture Trust collection is sited in Nene Park with the majority of pieces in the Sculpture Park at Thorpe Meadows.

The collection includes pieces by well-known Artists such as Sir Anthony Caro, Lee Grandjean, Miles Davis and Antony Gormley.

Rowing

Thorpe Meadows purpose built rowing lake is home to the Peterborough City Rowing Club. Information about the club and its events can be found at www.peterboroughcityrowing.co.uk

Fishing

Fishing is available on the River Nene.

Horse Riding

Geocaching

There are a series of Geocaches throughout Nene Park. For more information on Geocaching or to obtain coordinates see http://www.geocaching.com/.

Eat & Drink

The Ramada Hotel and the Boathouse Pub are situated at the eastern end of the rowing lake. Both offer outdoor seating and views of the lake.
