Orton Mere and Woodston Reach
Orton Mere is an area of open space to the east of Ferry Meadows Country Park. Woodston Reach is a wooded area containing a series of footpaths easily accessible via Orton Mere.
It is a perfect spot for informal recreation whose features include lakes, a bird hide and the a Nene Valley Railway Station. Ferry Meadows Country Park and Thorpe Meadows are both within easy walking distance.
