Restoring and Enhancing Peterborough’s Green Jewel

Over the next six weeks, Nene Park Trust is running a survey to find out in more detail about where our visitors come from and what is good, or not so good, about Ferry Meadows. The survey also offers a chance to vote on a series of proposed improvements to the Park facilities.

We would be very grateful if you could help us by filling in the survey on the following link:

The reason we are running this survey is to help inform a funding application we will soon be submitting to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Parks for People grant programme. HLF, through Parks for People, have awarded over £850 million to help restore and improve UK parks since 1996. We are hoping to successfully approach the Parks for People fund for a £multi-million grant that will allow us to make some transformational improvements to the facilities in the Park, whilst also restoring and promoting the rich heritage that Nene Park has to offer. The recently launched Nene Park Master Plan 2017-2050 set out our priorities and growth areas over the next 30+ years and it is through funders such as the Heritage Lottery Fund, alongside others, that we will fund the ambitions laid out in the Master Plan.

Thank you for your help in completing the survey. The more responses we are able to gather, the better informed we will be in preparing the application.
