After almost 7 years at Nene Park Trust, our Chief Executive James McCulloch, will be leaving at the end of this year to be the Chief Executive of an environmental and mental health charity in Wellington, New Zealand.

James said, "It has been an absolute privilege to lead the Trust over the past few years, and I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved as a team to improve the Nene Park experience for our visitors. I have seen first-hand the positive impact that our work has on the city community and beyond, and I look forward to using this experience to lead and grow another charity that shares a great cause."

The Trust Chairman, Jon Marsden, added, "James has marked his time in Peterborough with a lasting legacy and should be admired for his dedication and commitment to transforming Nene Park into the outstanding destination it is today. The work undertaken together with his talented team has delivered major improvement for the benefit of the many thousands of visitors who enjoy Nene Park each year. James has been instrumental in supporting the Trust to develop its long term vision and we look forward to continuing to make Nene Park even better for visitors and future generations"

The Nene Park Trust Board will be launching a recruitment process in the next few weeks to find a successor to James, and will be appointing the Trust Finance Director, Phil Rolfe, as Acting Chief Executive from late 2014 until a successor to James is appointed in 2015.
