A Peterborough-based film-maker Martyn Moore is looking for old film of Ferry Meadows and Nene Park as part of a project to tell the 25-year story of the Country Park in a video.

NorthLight Media has been commissioned to produce The Story of Nene Park, a short film to mark the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Nene Park Trust in September. The film will feature archive photographs of the Park but director Martyn Moore is looking for old video, possibly filmed by visitors.

Martyn would love to include old film, especially if it shows how the Park and its visitors have changed over the quarter-century. Hair-styles and fashions have had their ups and downs as the Park has matured.

Chosen clips will appear for just a few seconds in the finished production but Nene Park Trust hopes that visitors will allow their films to be added to the Park archive. Film created in all popular formats can be considered, including cine film.

If anybody has old film shot in the Park, and the features of the Park are recognisable, Martyn would love to hear from you. He'll take care of copying and can even make the digital files available to owners. Think of it as a free conversion service for usable clips.

Any organisations or individuals with film of Ferry Meadows can email NorthLight Media at: martyn@northlightmedia.co.uk
