I remember when...

I remember when…..

As Nene Park Trust is 25 years old this year we thought it would be nice to take a look back at how visitors have been enjoying the Park over all this time.

We started by digging out the old photos and slides we had in our archive. However, we would now like to ask for your help. If you have any old photos of Ferry Meadows and the wider Nene Park we would love to hear from you.

We appreciate that many of the photos will be from before the days of digital cameras so one option is to scan them and send them to us that way. Alternatively there is a scanner at the Visitor Centre where the Visitor Centre staff will be happy to scan your photos in for you.

We would also love to hear from you if you have memories or recollections of the Park from over the last 25 years or even from before the land became known as Nene Park.

You can send us your memories and recollections by email to visitor.services@neneparktrust.org.uk or by post to Nene Park Trust, Ham Farm House, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU or drop them in at the Visitor Centre. If you are happy for us to get in touch make sure you include your contact details.

Below are a few of the photos we found in our archive.

An craft event in the Park. the date is unknown but the jumpers are very nice!

Relaxing in the sunshine. We think this photo is around 2001. The sign for the Key Ferry in the background is a clue.
