The bluebells in the aptly named Bluebell Wood in Ferry Meadows are now out.
Every year the bluebells create a carpet of blue amongst the trees in the wood and now is a great time to come and see them.

For those of you who don't know, Bluebell Wood forms part of the northern boundary of Ferry Meadows between the A47 and the River Nene.
You can check the Ferry Meadows map to see exactly where Bluebell Wood is by clicking here.

Another good place to see bluebells in Nene Park is Thorpe Wood which is managed by the Wildlife Trust. To go the Wildlife Trust's website and find out more about Thorpe Wood click here.
