Nene Park Trust is teaming up with Heart FM to present Ferry Meadows first Drive-In Movie event. Following the success of the Picnic on the Meadows event over the last three years, we have teamed up with Heart FM on a brand new event for 2012 - Movie on the Meadows.

On the evening of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May, one of the meadows will be transformed into a drive in cinema. Film-lovers will be able to see some firm family favourites in High Definition on a giant inflatable screen.

The programme for the weekend is:
Saturday 5 May       Back to the Future - rated U
Sunday 6 May         Mamma Mia! - rated PG

Entrance to the event is by car only and tickets must be purchased in advance from Ferry Meadows Visitor Centre at a cost of £10 per car.

Visitor Centre Opening hours:
Weekdays 11am-4pm
Weekends 10am-5pm

Up to a maximum of 5 people can be in a vehicle and vehicles must be no larger than a people carrier to be permitted entrance.

Gates to the meadow will be open from 5:30pm with all cars needing to arrive by 8:00pm for an 8:15pm film start. Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available on the meadow.

Pedestrian access to the southern end of Coney Meadow will be restricted over the two days but the rest of the park will remain unaffected to general park visitors.
