Record Breaking Easter

The extraordinary weather over the bank holiday period helped to break all previous records for visitor numbers at Ferry Meadows with numbers reaching between six and seven thousand each day.

The only sour note left by the record breaking numbers was the level of litter strewn all over the Park by some of its visitors.

We currently spend over £50,000 during the high season on litter collection alone. If litter wasn't left on the ground we could substantially reduce the time and money we spend collecting litter. This would give us more to spend on other improvement projects in the Park.
