Located at the spectacular Lakeside and with access to the beautiful Gunwade Lake, Nene Outdoors caters for many activities on and off the water.

Fishing is available all year round in certain areas of Ferry
Meadows and there are two stands close by the Lakeside
centre car park for disabled anglers which are accessible to

River cruisers can enter Ferry Meadows from the River Nene onto Overton Lake where there are free 24 hour moorings. Please note there are no pumping out facilities available.

Proteus Canoe Club is based at Orton Mere. The club has direct access to the river and promotes all forms of paddle sports but specialises in Slalom.

The club hold race days every Saturday on Gunwade Lake.
