Nene Park: The Untold Story

Nene Park: The Untold Story project has set out to capture the memories, feelings and attitudes of the people involved during the Park's formative years.

Follow an outdoor trail at Ferry Meadows. The trail has used memories and photos to create a series of ten panels. Trail leaflets are available at the Ferry Meadows Visitor Centre or you can download an online version below.

The interviews which were recorded with Park visitors and people directly involved in both creating and developing the Park will be available at Peterborough's Archive Service based in Peterborough Library

More images from the Park's past are on display in Squires Coffee House in Peterborough Museum until June 2016.


Historical documents held by us will be digitally scanned and placed with Peterborough's archive service.

Peterborough Museum is another great place to find out more about Peterborough's past.
