Nene Park Trust
Nene Park Trust is a registered charity and was established in 1988. Along with a 999 year lease on the Park, the Trust was endowed with commercial properties and other assets which now generate income to maintain the Park.
The park is entirely self funded through rental income from commercial and Park properties, concessions and investments at no cost to the taxpayer.
Aims and objectives
The Trust's work continues to be based on its original aim:
'To provide for the recreation of the public by the provision of a park for the benefit of the inhabitants of Peterborough and visitors with the object of improving the conditions of life for such persons'.
